If you have had searched for a property, you are aware how time-consuming and ordeal the entire thing can be. On top of that, assessing the right price and predicting the future market trends of your desired property can be difficult without expert guidance. Certain aspects like neighbourhood quality, future price prediction and relevant nearby developments can be hard to know before buying the property.

This is where an AI tool can come in handy. Two brothers from Bradford are now leveraging AI in order to make the entire process easy for the buyers (and for sellers too). The brothers Anza Malik and Shemeer Ahmad invented the Valery AI platform where buyers can get quality information apart from the obvious factors such as pricing.

How Valery AI Platform Helps in Assessing the Real Estate Market in Canada?

Valery uses Artificial Intelligence to display information like price prediction of the property and of the land, Mortgage Calculator, Cash Flow Analysis, Avg Days on the Market, and more importantly for the demographic of the neighbours. In short, they help in automated property valuations, in streamlining transactions, to get information on geospatial insights and in understanding investment analytics.

But what truly sets apart Valery from other real estate websites is that they have an AI powered chatbot which comes very handy for enquiries. Instead of setting filters for your desired property, you could simply ask the chatbot about information such as the number of times properties have been sold off in the neighbourhood where you are looking to buy the property.

A significant advantage that Valery chatbot offers is zero pressure on the potential buyers to make a purchase whereas the potential buyers can enquire n number of things from the AI tool.

We wanted to try the AI powered chatbot to see its capability in producing meaningful information from relevant prompts but it seems the bot was going through an upgrade at the time of writing this article. We will give an update soon as soon as the maintenance time gets over.

The co-founder Shemeer Ahmad has been a real estate agent and also has a degree in Computer Science.

The AI tool is built from the API of OpenAI and the brothers opined that they have ensured about reputable sources for entering data of about 10,000-20,000 rows of “unique real estate data points.” as per their interview to BradfordToday.ca

The company states itself as “tech-forward brokerage” that will help the agents to seal the deal as the bot can help them to understand the visitor’s preferences.

The website currently gets around 700 – 800 visitors a day and the feedback has been positive as per the makers.

“I think we’re never going to stop trying to push the boundaries,” Ahmad said. “We built the foundation. Now, it’s time to really understand where AI fits into the picture and where we can provide real utility and value.” they said.

Buyers are also curious to know about the important aspects like travel time estimates to nearby landmarks, best-rated restaurants, quality schools and education center when searching for the desired property and Valery plans to provide those information soon on their website.

While the AI powered website may appear to replace real-estate property brokers, the company believes that “it won’t replace agents.” as per their blog. However, it does opine that agents unwilling to utilize the AI may risk their careers. The platform plans to sell accounts to brokers with a low monthly fee.

Other AI Powered Platforms for Navigating Real Estate Market in Canada

While Valery seems like a great option, there are other platforms also that can help you in navigating the property valuation in Canada such as sites like zoocasa.com, REW (Real Estate Wire), point2homes and etc. However, where Valery differentiates itself from competitors in the AI enabled chatbot and in displaying other relevant information.
